Overview 

The EagleGo-HD Kit, based on the Xilinx ZYNQ7000 SoC chips, combines ARM processing systems with 28nm programmable logic perfectly, enabling users to create powerful designs. The EagleGo suite provides 1080p high-definition video input for embedded vision and image processing, especially for Deep Learning, CNNs network optimization, and support for SDSoC design processes. The kit enables customers to create well differentiated and powerful designs in the area of Industrial Control, Machine Vision, Video image processing, and Test and Measurement.

EagleGo-HD Kit includes: 

The EagleGo-HD Kit provides all the necessary components to start development of embedded vision applications, including the a 200MP SONY camera module, power supply, various cables, and a 1-year license voucher for the Xilinx Vivado Design Edition software (device locked). The EagleGo-HD kit also includes deep learning applications to help accelerate your embedded vision development.

Training Course: Image Processing Using SDSoC 


Course Objectives: 

Through this course, let the students establish the basic concept of image and video processing, understand the typical image algorithm, familiar with the SDSoC design flow and how to design FPGA using C codes. 

Using Xilinx ZYNQ SoC platform as labs platform, students will be familiar with the video system development processes and prepare for future complex digital system design.

Prerequisite 

  • Participants are expected to already know how to use SDSoC software or have attended our 'SDSoC Adopter Class'.



Lab 1: Making image more clear

Lab Description: Through the EagleGo platform, participants will learn how to capture HD1080p video data from image, realizing the White Balance operation, and then send out the video through the HDMI interface. Restore the true color of the image, make the image clearer. 

Highlights: theory of white balance processing, SDSoC development environment, Video capture and display function 

Lab 2: Detecting the edge of image

Lab Description: Through the EagleGo platform, you will learn how to capture HD1080p video data from image, realizing the edge detecting operation(Sobel filter), and then send out the video through the HDMI interface. After processing, only the edge of object can display. 

Highlights: theory of edge detecting processing, C codes optimizing, SDSoC development environment.
